Why This Mentorship
After completing my first 300-Hour Jivamukti Yoga Teacher Training (JYTT), I felt unprepared and lacking confidence. Teaching felt overwhelming, and I constantly questioned whether I was good enough.
Everything changed when I completed my Jivamukti Teacher Apprenticeship Program (JTAP) with Maria Macaya. Having a mentor who personally supported and guided me helped me build the confidence I needed to teach large classes in foreign countries. I also completed Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Rādika (TSY-R®) training with Fundación Rādika in Barcelona. I have also studied neuroscience in areas such as meditation, the mind-body connection, and memory and identity.
While teaching in Koh Phangan, Thailand, I saw many newly certified teachers going through the same struggles I had faced. After offering a short training on hands-on assists, teachers started asking for more guidance. That’s when I realized the power of mentorship.
My method focuses on building meaningful, inclusive sequences through effective cueing techniques.
